design in the online world. This is a great opportunity for a talented graphic/web
designer with excellent design skills and a good eye for detail to kick-start a
career in the creative industry.
This is a part time position but there is a strong
possibility of a full time position once the 3 month probation period is over.
The type of person that
will suit this position…
You’ll need to have plenty of creativity and a willingness
to be a team player. A positive attitude is also essential and a desire to grow
your skills for a career in graphic design would be fantastic. You must also be
passionate and committed to client service. Finally, you must be willing to be an all-rounder who has a great
mix of technical ability, design flair, an easygoing manner and most
importantly a great work ethic.
Experienced
in using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
An
understanding of Content Management Systems, in particular Joomla! &
Mambo
Must have watched atleast 1 epesoide of Star Wars, Star Trek or Stargate. (like it or dislike it we don't care)
Ability
to speak languages other than English would be a plus, but not essential.

Punctual
and respectful (means being on time/10minutes before you start)
Able to work independently and within a team
Have
interest and hobbies outside of the working industry (a balanced lifestyle
is encouraged)
Interested
and actively keeping up to date in current web & graphic trends
Have strong initiative and creative tendencies that
add value to our vibrant team
Have
excellentcommunication skills both
written and spoken (we don’t take well to murmur)
Able
to work well under stress and with deadlines, while still keeping a
positive attitude
Able
to talk “geek” to members of the team, but professional to the clients
Experience
playing Wii an advantage but not necessary
Enjoys
a variety of cultural experiences
What you can expect
to do…
If you are the lucky applicant you will spend the first 6
months working on existing client projects. There will be supervision and
mentoring to ensure that the work produced is of high quality and will meets
client expectations. You will have the opportunity to work full time after the
initial probation period has been successfully completed.You will be responsible for edits, changes and maintenance
of existing projects for both print and web.You will also have the opportunity to deliver fresh ideas and
perspectives to the creative team. Client confidentiality will be required on
most projects.
