Suburban Shopfront Improvement Grants

Are you a suburban Brisbanite retailer or hospitality vendor dreaming of a more appealing facade to better attract customers? You’ll want to push the button on the Suburban Shopfront Improvement Grant program from Brisbane City Council.

In order to achieve a fresh new look, the grant provides up to $5000 (excluding GST) to property owners or tenants of shopfronts in local business precincts. It’s also aimed at bringing character to these regions. The takeaway here is that you should think strategically about how you’ll best match Council’s objectives in order to win the grant.

You’ll also want to keep in mind that this is a matched grant, which means that for every dollar requested from Council, the Applicant must have an equal dollar amount (or more) to put toward the project. To be eligible, work must not have already commenced or been paid for.

Now that you’ve heard the word on the (suburban) street you’ll want to get moving on fulfilling the application criteria and requirements. To prepare any quotes related to advertising, signage and more you can ask our professional and friendly team at Eightball Media anytime. Reach out by calling
07 3122 9888, or filling out the form below.

The grant is subject to funding availability and will close when funding is exhausted.

So, it’s important to start planning and gathering your evidence ASAP. We can help you with this process* While we can’t provide official guidance on the grant itself we can help you with the components that will go into your submission.
