Brief & Challenge

Lions at Springwood was after a website that will entice people to become customers of the club. However, there were already plenty of competitors in the surrounding areas. With so many pub and club options to choose from, convincing people to come to Lions at Springwood was a challenge.


Eightball Media suggested and implemented various solutions to the website design:

  • Create a content rich website that features photos of various age group individuals having a good time. This will give the impression that the place is a family friendly place and that anyone can come and have a good time.
  • Highlight the various features Lions @ Springwood have to offer. It wasn’t just a dining place. It offered a kids corner, an entertainment space, a gaming place, a bottle shop and much more. The website will provide all the sought after information.
  • Design and provide a large space for promotional banners on the Home Page that is regularly updated with various specials. Advertising specials and latest events are the main attraction that will keep people coming to a venue. Running competitions will also attract more customers to visit.
  • Utilise both online and print medium in the marketing strategy.


With a combination of great quality website and an ongoing marketing campaign, external advertising of discount food offers, prize draws and the internal advertising of drink specials the goal of attracting people to become frequent customers of the venue was reached.
