The Point Veterinarian is located at Paradise Point, on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Dr John and the rest of the team at Point Vet offer a range of medical services for the treatment of pets. The veterinary clinic’s appearance is trendy, stylish and stands out from regular vets. Opening in late July 2011, the clinic felt they needed to grab the attention of a wider audience, and so decided they 
needed a website and online marketing plan. Eightball Media, a website design and online marketing firm created their online presence over a 6 week period.
The website features a professional media centre with images of patients and the clinic. A blog page keeps customers up to date with newsletters, general health information and frequently asked questions. A Facebook plug-in was integrated into the website to drive more traffic from social media users back to the website. The website’s layout is predominantly top bar links with a black and white colour scheme, combined with large professional colour images.
Eightball Media created the website, media centre and flash banner equipped with a large slideshow of images. The website was submitted to a number of search engines, including Google and Yahoo. The blog page was created, to allow Dr John to directly respond to customers and for the customers to be able to get to know their Veterinarian.
The Point Veterinarian offers a comprehensive range of medical services for your pet that covers all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery. Dr John Rigley sees almost every client every time they visit the clinic. Emphasis is placed on using the most up-to-date techniques and protocols for the best results. The Point Veterinarian has separate cat and dog consultation rooms, with a designated surgery, dental and kennel area.
