Eightball was invited to tender on a website rebuild for Carramar as they were embarking on a significant pivot within their business. Carramar was hoping to engage a local Brisbane web agency with the expertise and strategy to handle their unique business operational hierarchy and knowledge of how to best position themselves online.
Carramar needed to showcase their credibility and depth of knowledge within two distinct target markets and improve their reach with relevant stakeholders within those industries. By improving the information architecture of the new website and simplifying the user flow throughout the website, Eightball was able to assist Carramar to reduce site visitor confusion and bring forward relevant information that answered the visitor’s intentions for coming to the website. In addition to creating a fresh design with better information architecture, Carramar utilized Eightball’s copywriting services to ensure the website copy clearly conveyed the company’s services and values.
By refining the website’s navigation, we were able to then concentrate on other aspects of a website rebuild. For instance, image selection to support the copy text and showcasing their credibility to enhance conversion rate optimisation (CRO), ease of navigation, and search engine optimisation.
Additionally, the site was rebuilt on a newer CMS (Content Management System) with easier edit functionality, to allow the client to maintain and update their website with all minor changes on a regular basis.
Eightball was able to manage the project from initial brief to launch alongside regular communication with the team at Carramar to ensure we conveyed Carramar and it’s services with 100% accuracy. Full training was provided to key staff and both parties were happy with the results achieved.
